Is a test-tube baby more likely to be abnormal?
So far all the babies that have been healthy and normal. There has been healthy and normal. There has been no sign in the work undertaken to date that this is a danger. Of course, the numbers involved are too small for accurate statistical assessment. We have been trying for three years to have a baby, but without success. At my antenatal clinic I was told to take iron tablets, and I have been doing this all through my pregnancy. Will these damage my baby. No. Iron tablets are perfectly safe and have never been shown to cause a malformed baby. In fact they may reduce the chances of spina bifida. I wasn’t immunized against German measles when I was a teenager. Now that my husband and I are planning to start a family, I want to have the vaccination. Will I have to avoid getting pregnant for a while afterward? Yes, but only for three months following your vaccination. After that any pregnancy will not be affective by the vaccine.
